BER = Berlin Brandenburg Airport "Willy Brandt"
Recommended route: BER > Potsdamer Platz > Botanischer Garten (change only once)
Take the airport express FEX (runs every 15 minutes via Südkreuz and Potsdamer Platz to Hauptbahnhof) or the RE20 to Potsdamer Platz, then change to the S1 towards Wannsee and get off at "Botanischer Garten".
Alternative via Südkreuz: FEX or RE20 to Südkreuz, then see the menu item "Südkreuz".
Alternative by S-Bahn only: S9 (towards Spandau) to Friedrichstrasse, then the S1 towards Wannsee to "Botanischer Garten" – takes longer, but runs frequently.
Please note: for the journey from BER you need a ticket for zones ABC.
Note (as of 2026): due to construction works, regional trains do not stop on the Stadtbahn line (e.g. Friedrichstrasse) until presumably 12 Dec 2026 – the S-Bahn runs normally.
